We have recently issued two updated versions of the 'REAL Industrially Compostable Products' and 'REAL Home Compostable Products' scheme rules. Version 3 of these documents can be found and downloaded from our website here.
The key change from the previous versions is the addition of certifiable product types e.g., cling film, dental floss, and tea filters. Following consultation with the certification bodies, a total of 10 new product types have been added to the list of certifiable products under the Compostable Materials Certification Scheme.
